LET’S TALK DISPATCH PODCAST

WARNING:

THIS PODCAST IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE RECORDED LINE

Let's Talk Dispatch is not your average recorded line. We connect with everyone interested in the world of 911 dispatching—whether you're a current or former dispatcher, or a company that supports these first responders. Our mission is to raise awareness about this life-saving, life-changing career because the world needs more dispatchers.

ON THE POD

MEET YOUR HOST, ASHLEY VALENZUELA

Let's Talk Dispatch is hosted by Ashley Valenzuela, a 911 dispatcher since 2018. After completing 18 months of training and realizing her Administration of Justice degrees didn’t cover the role of dispatchers at all, she was inspired to take action. Ashley created online resources to guide aspiring dispatchers through the application process and built a community for current dispatchers to connect and support each other. "Let's Talk Dispatch" aims to raise awareness about the vital work dispatchers do and the need for more professionals in the field.

LOVER OF MUTE KEY, MASTER OF SARCASM, AND 911 DISPATCHER.

However, the casual conversation is still purpose-driven with objectives. I think this is one of the most important things that sets Raspy apart from others, it’s no just guest sharing “war stories” for shock value or entertainment; the podcast has a strong training/ education focus and listeners leave with information, skills and resources.

IT’S A CASUAL, COMFORTABLE CONVERSATION RATHER THEN FEELING LIKE AN “INTERVIEW”.
